dc.descriptionICARDA Genebank holds large and unique collections of crops of global importance including the mandate crops such as wheat, barley, chickpea, faba bean, lentil and grasspea, along with their crop wild relatives, as well as the temperate forage and range species (see Annex 1 for collection composition). All taxa conserved at ICARDA Genebank are known to have orthodox seed behavior therefore the conservation method has been chosen accordingly.
