This case study presents an independent consultant assessment of the gender impact of RFLP activities conducted in inshore coastal fisher communities in 9 municipalities and 2 cities of Zamboag del Norte province, Mindao Island in the Philippines. The report includes an overview of the context, details of the interventions, gives the results, implementation problems, and recommendations and key lessons learned which should be of interest to other rural development practitioners be they governmen t, NGO's or donor agencies.
