dc.descriptionEn este experimento, se explora la relación entre los índices de fragmentación derivados de la clasificación de imágenes a dos escalas, y se comparan con evaluaciones directas de vegetación. La información de vegetación empleada fue a través de parcelas permanentes e inventarios forestales de distintas instituciones. Las pruebas estadísticas reflejaron que existen correlaciones significativas y más confiables de los patrones paisaje a escala 1:25000 con las variables de estructura y composición vegetal de las PPM y se concluye que esta escala tiene mayor precisión. This experiment explores the relationship between the levels of fragmentation reported from the analysis of images at two scales, and biodiversity measures based on direct assessments of vegetation. Direct vegetation assessments were based on permanent plots and forest inventories from various institutions. The statistical evidence showed that there were significant correlations and more reliable landscape relationships at 1:25000 when compared with the variables of community structure and composition from the PMP.
