This booklet produced within the framework of the +Cotton project seeks to briefly present some research results on the diversity and current geographic distribution of colored and improved cotton varieties in the Chaco region and that are produced by peasants and indigenous people, with the objective of identifying the number of varieties and accessions existing in the Capealindi, Kopere and Isipirenda areas. This document represents an important contribution of the South-South trilateral cooperation between FAO and the Brazilian Cooperation Agency (ABC) for the general public interested in the cotton value chain, including farmers and technical teams.
