dc.descriptionThe document consists of reports of three regional workshops held in Africa, Asia and Latin America, with the view to address the concerns raised by the Members during approval of the on the Evaluation Framework to assess the conformity of public and private certification schemes with the FAO Technical Guidelines on Aquaculture Certification, at the Seventh Session of the FAO Committee on Fisheries’ Sub-Committee on Aquaculture (COFI:AQ), held in St. Petersburg, Russian Federation, from 7-11 Oct ober, 2013. The regional workshops also endeavoured to increase the awareness of the FAO Guidelines and the Conformity Assessment Frameworks and the GSSI Global Benchmark Tool among stakeholders.
