This brochure is a tool to guide monitoring the GESI strategy in forest and landscape restoration projects and programmes, relevant for both national and subnational efforts. It includes a checklist to evaluate a programme’s attention to GESI and guidance on how to define specific indicators to track progress, based on the Reach, Benefit, Empower, Transform framework.
