The evaluation which covered FAO’s cooperation in Guyana from 2012 to 2015 was very timely. The evaluation although in a limited way (due to the late submission of the report), provided very useful inputs which helped to orient the new CPF 2016-2019, making the CPF more aligned and relevant to the Government and other stakeholder priorities. Moreover, the discussions conducted during the evaluation emphasized the need to promote ownership of the CPF development process, and the involvement of na tional partners (government entities, civil society organization and the private sector).
