This brief sets out to analyse the extent to which the PNBSF is supporting the livelihoods and income-generating activities of rural households. In addition, it aims to identify the most appropriate supplementary support measures with the capacity to contribute to rural development as a whole, and promote resilience of the most vulnerable rural households. In doing so, this research will help to determine existing and potential links with other programmes offering support to household resilience.
