In the zone of Poas, Alajuela, Costa Rica, three miticides were evaluated in strawberries against the two-spotted spider mite Tetranychus urticae Koch, cyhexatin (plictran) 0.27 kg i.a./ha, propargite (Omite) 0.27 kg i.a./ha and thuringiensin (Dibeta) 0.15 kg i.a./ha. The population of the mite was evaluated four times during six weeks. There were no significant differences between the miticides. There was significant difference between the interaction: treatment*time.
