This publication presents final chicken and egg estimates made by the Agricultural Statistics Board for the period 1988-93 including some revisions and continues the official series published in Statistical Bulletin No. 801 issued December 1989. This series includes monthly and quarterly layer and egg numbers, rate of lay, and chickens inventory and value as of December 1. Estimates contained in this publication provide a historic record and benchmark for current estimates.
