This brochure comes to support awareness about land security among the rural population and investors. Securing land tenure remains a problem in most African country. And for good reason, the legal security of land depends on social peace as well as economic and social development. In Côte d'Ivoire, FAO and UNESCO, with the collaboration of the Ministry of Agriculture assisted by NGOs in the field, have developed a pilot projects for peaceful prevention and management Of conflicts. The 4-page do cument was prepared with the collaboration of our partners in the Ministry of Agriculture. It will be distributed free of charge to our various partners as well as to rural populations, for whom the issue of securing land tenure is very important.
