This policy brief highlights key lessons learned from restoration interventions, and provides actionable recommendations to scale up efforts across the Great Green Wall (GGW). It draws upon the latest scientific findings and innovations that balance both biophysical and social considerations tried and tested through the FAO Action Against Desertification project. It was produced through the “Knowledge for Great Green Wall Action” (K4GGWA) project funded by the European Union.
