FAO's Regional Office for Asia and the Pacific works to assist its Member Nations in the region achieve an end to hunger, improved nutrition of their populations and achieve better livelihoods for the millions of small holder farmers, fishers and pastoralists. This regional brochure highlights the office's mandate, who we are and what we do in the world's biggest and most dynamic of regions, home to most of the planet's hungry and malnourished, yet a region with great potential to produce more n utritious food in a sustainable way.
