This report is a revised update of the May 2005 Agriculture Prospects Report (APR), released by the Afghan Ministry of Agriculture Animal Husbandry and Food (MAAHF). It contains updated estimates of the 2005 crop output with projections for the cereal surplus/deficit in the various provinces as well as prevaling wages, market prices for agricultural commodities, inputs and some services. The information is primarily based on the provincial crop monitoring missions fielded by MAAHF.
