The FAO Afghanistan Newsletter, Issue 4 is quarter based publication which provides information about the FAO project remarkable progress and major achievements which has made in the field of agriculture, livestock, irrigation and food security. The fourth issue of FAO’s Newsletter in Afghanistan includes supports of Japan government in Afghanistan agriculture, rehabilitation of Kareezes, holding Afghanistan’s first National Livestock Conference for developing strategic plan, Support of FAO to p rivate sectors for identifying and combating transboundary animal diseases, mission of women to India, appreciation awards to Kabul Dairy Union, conciliation meeting with various stakeholders for development environmental and social management framework and impact of rehabilitation of Zohrabi canal by IRDP.
