| dc.description | This project fact sheet summarizes the key aspects of this project, emergency assistance for protecting agriculture-livelihoods and rebuilding coping capacities of vulnerable and food insecure farming households to shocks including COVID-19, objective, budget, geographical scope, people assisted, assistance modalities, crosscutting issues and SDGs contribution. The key objective of this project is to providing time-critical assistance to 24 000 vulnerable small holder farming and herding households in four of the most food insecure provinces of Afghanistan. People assisted will receive inputs to protect their livestock or cultivate wheat, hence protecting their livelihoods. The project is also protecting vulnerable landless and women-headed households with cash and nutrition assistance. | |
