The FAO/ Government of Saint Vincent and the Grenadines/Country Programme Framework (CPF) takes into consideration the obligations and commitments of St. Vincent and the Grenadines as a protocol member of the Organisation of Eastern Caribbean States (OECS) Economic Union and embraces the outcomes of the United Nations Development Assistance Framework (UNDAF 2012-2015) for Barbados and the OECS, the OECS Treaty on Agriculture, the OECS Agriculture Policy and Strategic Plan (2003) and the St. Geor ges Declaration- This approach assures FAO support in assisting St. Vincent and the Grenadines to fulfill its role among protocol members, in the development priorities for OECS agriculture including the sub-regional programs that address cross-border dimensions of Agriculture.
