This document contains observations of the FAO Legal Office on the report of the 2nd IOTC Performance Review (PRIOTC02). It isdivided into three sections. The first provides a recapitulation of the institutiol framework of bodies established under Article XIV of the FAO Constitution. This is followed by general comments on the report of the PRIOTC02. The fil section contains specific comments on matters raised in the PRIOTC02. In addition, comments to specific paragraphs are highlighted in the P RIOTC02 report.
