Economic analysis of sorghum silage potential for the growing dairy industry was
conducted and identified yield effect, water saved, feed requirement, acreage and production cost.
More acreage, irrigation water and feed will be needed if sorghum silage is used to replace corn silage
unless dryland sorghum silage yield is improved.
