The International Day of Plant Health (IDPH) is celebrated annually on 12 May. 2024 was the third global observance of the day, under the theme: Plant health, safe trade, and digital technology. IDPH 2024 called on all groups of people, from scientists and policymakers to investors and students, to raise awareness and take action to keep our plants healthy and ensure food safety and safe trade for sustainable economies and livelihoods. Various groups, organizations and communities around the world organized a range of activities, including parades, exhibitions, photo contests and seminars to raise awareness about the importance of plant health. This report highlights some of the activities held around the world, to observe IDPH 2024.
