dc.descriptionThis report is based on the visit of the author to Palau, 11-20 January 1971, discussions with many experts, including Trust Territory scientists, officials of the Marine Resources Division, the Department of Education, the Micronesian Occupational Center, independent visiting scientists, as listed in Appendix II, and several field trips to representative aquatic environments. The report only suggests procedures which might be followed for implementing aquaculture in Palau. The report consists p rincipally of description of the aquatic environment, the species available for aquaculture, the practicability of expanding production through aquaculture with some observations on processing and marketing the product, and the economics of aquaculture at this location.
