Descripción
The project contributed to improving food and nutritionsecurity in the target areas by increasing the productionand productivity of wheat and barley under thedouble-cropping system. Prior to the project, farm-levelyields averaged around 2 tonnes/hectare (ha) due tolimited use of improved practices, lack of suitable varietiesand inadequate irrigation and water management.
