The FAO Myanmar newsletter 2020 Issue #1 gives a rundown of the Representation Office's significant activities and achievements for January - March 2020. This issue contains the following articles: (1) Informal country-level consultation for the 35th session of the FAO Asia and the Pacific regional conference (APRC) in Myanmar; (2) Restoring and protecting the agriculture livelihoods of vulnerable communities through disaster risk reduction; (3) Promoting good practices in climate change adaptation for Myanmar Fisheries Sector; (4) The global agriculture and food security programme in Myanmar: helping to eliminate hunger, food insecurity and malnutrition; (5) Investing in food security: FAO introduces new technology for African swine fever detection; (6) Laying the foundations of an operationalization plan for a safeguard information system, SIS, for REDD+ in Myanmar.
