| dc.description | The Government of Japan contributed USD 2 million to the FAO project, "Mitigating the impact of drought for the most vulnerable pastoral and agropastoral communities in Djibouti, Kenya and Uganda", which was implemented from 22 March 2023 to 21 March 2024. The project aimed to provide access to food and other basic goods and services, while protecting and restoring productive livelihoods to build back self-reliance in drought-affected communities. The project successfully reached 11 520 households (73 968 people) with unconditional cash transfers, emergency livestock feed, training and animal health services. | |
