This case study outlines the journey of Amru Rice’s investment into their own transition from a rice trader to organic rice producer in Cambodia.
Key learnings emerging from their investment include: 1) engaging relevant stakeholders in the early stages of the project helps to attract external financiers; and 2) creating a long-term but flexible strategic plan allows the company to take advantage of opportunities (i.e., tax incentives, donor funding) to increase overall project success.
