Descripción
This study investigates the long and short-run factors influencing renewable
energy consumption in Louisiana using a time series data over five decades. A
cointegration and error correction model is used to evaluate time series data.
Results suggest that renewable energy consumption is positively associated with
income, while negatively associated with prices of coal energy and petroleum
products in the long run.
