Descripción
The ongoing conflict in Yemen has aggravated an already fragilesocio-economic context, negatively affecting the overall economicand livelihood situation, as well as the agricultural sector and othernon-agriculture livelihoods, resulting in protracted and continuousworsening of the food insecurity situation in the country. The projectaimed to assist the Government of Yemen in improving the country’sfood security and nutrition situation by establishing a conduciveinstitutional set-up for food security decision-making at national leveland in six selected governorates (Dhamar, Hadramout, Hajjah, Hodeida,Lahej and Taiz), supported by an effective and sustainable nationalFood Security Information System (FSIS).
