Worldwide, regional and country status and trends about EMPRES priority diseases and response provided by the international community. The objective of Focus On publications is to sensitize Veterinary Services, FAO decentralized offices and animal health specialists to a specific disease problem and highlight the response provided by the international community. They are not produced during emergency situations or crisis but could be followed by Early Warning messages in case the disease situat ion changes.
