Descripción
This four-year initiative (2017 to 2020) aims to improve the management of natural resources, and in particular migratory waterbird populations, in the Sahelian wetlands
for the benefit of local people (e.g. especially in relation food security and local development). Through this objective to achieve a sustainable level of resource use, the RESSOURCE Project will contribute to the strategic goals of the Agreement on the Conservation of African-Eurasian Migratory Waterbirds (AEWA) and the Ramsar
Convention. Both AEWA and the Ramsar Secretariats are stakeholders of the Project. STATE OF PROGRESS OF THE RESSOURCE PROJECT: presentation of activities conducted in Sahelian wetlands (Chad, Egypt, Mali, Senegal, Sudan).
