This summary progress report provides highlights and key programme achievements of the FAO Cox's Bazar office. Cox’s Bazar, a vulnerable district in south-eastern Bangladesh, is a priority area which is politically sensitive. The region, which has a Bangladeshi population of 2.65 million people, hosts the largest refugee population in the world with 926 561 Rohingya who reside in 33 makeshift camps. The area is prone to seasonal cyclones and monsoons. This is the fourth in a series of regular updates aimed primarily at international donors.
