In the last months a new increase in food prices has negatively affected food security; Violence and insecurity has continued throughout the country; Of the 7.2 million people classified as food insecure, an estimated 2.7 million people are reported to be severely food insecure. Different agencies are concerned over the serious situation of hunger; Budget constraints limit food aid distribution to IDPs.
