Descripción

The International Scientific Symposium on the CCLME emerges as a beacon of hope, fostering international collaboration to preserve this invaluable marine ecosystem. Bringing together approximately 100 scientists, researchers, policymakers, industry stakeholders, and NGOs, the Symposium serves as a platform for discussions, knowledge sharing, and solutions aimed at addressing the complex environmental issues confronting the CCLME.The Symposium's goals are:1) Take stock of available scientific knowledge about exploited marine resources, vulnerable species, habitats, biodiversity, and water quality within the CCLME.2) Showcase scientific methodologies for monitoring the CCLME's evolution under anthropic pressure and the impacts of climate change and the data they have generated.
