Funded by the Global Environment Facility (GEF) and implemented by the Royal Scientific Society (RSS) under FAO supervision, this project aims to achieve Land Degradation Neutrality across Northern Jordan. From March 2023 to January 2027, the initiative targets 16 strategic watersheds covering over 107 000 hectares to restore ecological balance and promote sustainable land management.Within this publication, you will find a comprehensive overview of our mission, including our core objectives and the specific governorates under restoration.
