The Codex Trust Fund (CTF), hosted by the World Health Organization, supports eligible low- and middle-income countries to participate more effectively in the FAO/WHO Codex Alimentarius Commission and subsidiary food standards setting bodies. Established in 2003, the positive impact of CTF projects has been felt throughout Codex committees and Commission meetings, and in countries. In this story, Khalisa Mohammed, Codex Contact Point for Maldives, explains how the CTF project has benefitted her country.
