The socioeconomic study in Chipipa, Angola, carried out by FAO's ZAEC project with GEF funding, focuses on the Ngunga area. It identifies challenges like limited technical assistance and credit, impacting agriculture. Sustainable land management practices and the predominant use of chemical fertilizers are noted. Financial capital is identified as a significant constraint. Key findings in Chipipa include an average family size of six, common raising of chickens and goats, land ownership without titles, and low incomes. The study underscores the need for funding and solutions to enhance agricultural practices and address project challenges.
