The IKYA (IITA-Kalambo Youth Agri-entrepreneurs) group is a group of young graduates aged between 25 and 35 years old with different academic backgrounds and a common interest in agribusiness. The group aims at identifying and developing agri-enterprises and wants to serve as a model for other youth groups who want to engage in the sector. SMS messages, radio, Facebook, an online market and mobile payments have been introduced to provide the necessary support to the members of the group and to enable them to improve their agribusiness and to increase their incomes.
