dc.descriptionThe "Ministerial Declaration on managing water scarcity and reversing soil degradation for sustainable and resilient agrifood systems" was endorsed by ministers and representatives from 27 countries attending the International Soil and Water Forum 2024, co-organized by the Food and Agriculture Organization of the United Nations (FAO) and the Royal Thai Government in Bangkok, Kingdom of Thailand, from 9 to 11 December 2024. It reaffirms the collective commitment to urgent action to address water scarcity and reverse soil degradation to accelerate the transformation to more efficient, inclusive, resilient and sustainable agrifood systems.
