Resumen

Descripción

The contribution that is accrued from forest genetic resources to man’s life in Malawi and other countries is enormous. Human beings in many tropical countries suffer the ecological and environmental effects that have been caused by the over-exploitation of forest genetic resources. Efforts that have been made to address the situation seem to be overweighed by the rate of deforestation and uncontrolled fires taking place in many countries. Time has come that countries should team up together to carry out some programs that can enhance better ways of sustaining the environment and at the same time maintaining forest genetic resources.
