Descripción
Australia supports a variety of FAO activities across the food and agriculture sector, both in the Indo-Pacific region and further afield. It contributes significantly to emergency interventions targeting vulnerable communities affected by natural disasters and conflict, and gives high priority to animal disease control. The country’s wide-ranging expertise is a valuable asset for the Organization, particularly concerning its objective of achieving efficient food and agricultural systems.
