This thematic study undertakes a detailed review of information on coconut resources in Asia-Pacific countries and assesses likely changes in various key driving forces that determine the volumes of coconut wood available for processing. It assesses coconut wood processing capacities and applications as well as providing an overview of demand conditions and prospects for major coconut wood products to 2020. Coconut development policies and legislation are also explored.
