Rice is a major part of Pakistan's economy, accounting for around 47% of the total agricultural exports. In recent years, there has been a 20.5% decrease in rice crop yields in the country. The proposed project will target rice production landscapes in five districts in Sindh province and promote a transformation towards more inclusive and sustainable food systems by employing an integrated and mutually reinforcing approach towards the rice value chain.
