The 80th anniversary FAO in India coffee table book, titled “Sowing hope, harvesting success,” celebrates eight decades of enduring partnership between the Food and Agriculture Organization of the United Nations (FAO) and India – a proud founding member since 1945. It reflects the collaborative journey of FAO in India over the past 80 years.This commemorative book chronicles India’s remarkable transformation from a food-shortage to a food-surplus nation, to being a global leader in agrifood systems transformation, with the steadfast support of FAO throughout this journey.
