| dc.description | The four-year Project, “Strategies for trawl fisheries bycatch management” (REBYC-II CTI, GCP/RAS/269/GFF), began on 31 October 2011, and is scheduled to end on 31 October 2015. Real implementation, however, started in April 2012. The project covers five countries; Indonesia, Papua New Guinea, Philippines, Thailand and Viet Nam, and is executed with SEAFDEC. It is funded by the GEF at the amount of USD 3 million, and to be co-financed to the order of USD 8 million by the participating countries, as well as the private sector, FAO, SEAFDEC (including its projects funded by Japan and Sweden), WWF, SFP, and IFFO. | |
