Descripción
In Mali, persistent insecurity and recurring floods deprive populations of their agricultural livelihoods. Without adequate humanitarian assistance, the number of people in acute food insecurity could double during the lean season (June–August 2025). The situation particularly affects rural areas, where only urgent assistance would enable households to produce their food. For example, a soil-less market gardening kit enables a household to grow approximately 3.5 tonnes of vegetables in six months.
