dc.descriptionAt the kind invitation of the Government of Mongolia, the 29th session of the Asia-Pacific Forestry Commission (APFC) was held in virtual format from 22 to 25 February 2022. Under the main theme "Forests and green recovery in Asia and the Pacific”, the Commission discussed forest solutions for post-COVID-19 challenges in Asia-Pacific, and also assessed technical and policy issues of relevance to forestry in the region, advanced innovations for regional and sub-regional cooperation in addressing forestry problems. A total of nine agenda items were considered by the Commission, and the final report was adopted on 25 February.
