Descripción
Como resultado de la investigación cooperativa se producen nuevos productos intermedios o finales, innovaciones o procesos factibles de ser apropiados o protegidos por las instituciones participantes públicas y privadas. En la primera parte del estudio, se presenta un panorama sobre la situación de la propiedad intelectual, así como del papel de lo público y privado y sus vinculaciones con el comercio. Luego se exponen los elementos necesarios para una adecuada gestión de lo apropiable y lo protegible. Por último, se despliega una serie de conclusiones y recomendaciones con el propósito brindar una síntesis del estudio expuesto en el contexto del sistema regional de innovación tecnológica que apoya el IICA.
As a result of cooperative research, new intermediate or final products, innovations or processes that are feasible to be appropriated or protected by the participating public and private institutions are produced. In the first part of the study, an overview of the situation of intellectual property is presented, as well as the role of the public and private and their links with trade. Then the elements necessary for an adequate management of the appropriable and the protectable are exposed. Finally, a series of conclusions and recommendations are displayed with the purpose of providing a synthesis of the study presented in the context of the regional system of technological innovation supported by IICA.
