Descripción
The Government of the Federal Republic of Germany contributed USD 800 000 to the FAO project, "Anticipating the impacts of La Niña-induced floodsto protect smallholder farmers’ livelihoods in Mozambique", which was implemented from 24 August 2024 to 31 May 2025. The project aimed to reduce the negative impact of La Niña-induced floods and cyclones on vulnerable communities by increasing their resilience and strengthening food security.
