Descripción
This session aims at highlighting the major challenges of forest education at tertiary level around the globe and to present initiatives that have been implemented to address some of those challenges. In addition, future trends in forest education will be explored. The session aims at sharing the perspectives of different forest education stakeholders. To accomplish these goals, four speakers from different sectors, academia, research, private organizations, and student´s organizations will be invited to share their experiences engaging in forest education activities at the tertiary level. Furthermore, active contribution of the audience will be sought for using online space and the chat.
