The project “Supporting policy, legal and institutional frameworks for the reform of forest tenure in China?s collective forests and promoting knowledge exchange” supports the reform of forest tenure in China?s collective forests through strengthening policies, laws and institutions responsible for the management of collective forests in six pilot provinces. Funded by the European Union (EU) and implemented by the State Forestry Administration of China (SFA) and the United Nation s Food and Agriculture Organization (FAO), the project will also promote the exchange of knowledge and experiences on forest tenure reform both within China and with other countries.
