| dc.description | This is a report that contains the results obtained in 2019 by the FAO Commission for Controlling the Desert Locust in the Western Region (CLCPRO). The content of the newsletter, December 2019 - Issue #5, offers a retrospective of the main actions and achievements of 2019, which was very rich in terms of actions and initiatives, based on an inclusive approach and a strong commitment from the Member States (CLCPRO). As a result, significant progress towards the sustainability of the Desert Locust preventive control strategy in the western region has been achieved, thus contributing to one of the main objectives of FAO which is nothing but zero hunger by 2030. | |
